It’s me, remember me? Probably not. See, I started this blog with the intention of posting at least three times a week with whatever I felt was worth posting since November but instead, I have posted maybe ten times??? Ooopsss….
I realized it’s a lot harder than I thought, even just posting things that go on in my every day life-it’s not like I’m curing cancer or anything, so how hard is it to talk about every day life? Hard.
So, to get myself back on track after a life altering occurrence (my father passed away three weeks ago), blogging will be part of my creative outlet. I vow to myself-and to all of you (whoever is interested enough to read this) to post whatever at least twice a week.
Whatever. No matter how bad it is. Obviously I’m going to try to make them quality posts but usually when I try to hard, nothing is posted. I’m a perfectionist that way, the same as my daddy <3.
So a little of what my past week was like, enjoy!
My mornings have consisted of lots of coffee (my saving grace), reading, Pinteresting, and lounging until I want to decorate our new house.
Lunches lately have been simple, just the way I like it. And fresh! I love putting together a fresh plate of produce for lunches like sugar snap peas, cucumbers, cherries, apples, berries, carrots, and anything else I have in the fridge. The key is fresh ingredients.
Tomorrow is Sunday, and I plan on lounging around with my hubby until it’s time to grab some lunch. I love lazy Saturdays and Sundays, because through the week life can get so busy and hectic.
That’s what it’s about. Taking care of yourself as much as possible. You never know when life will change or if you’ll get the chance to do the things you want. Enjoy life as much as you can, while you can <3
Now off to get some diner pancakes and diner coffee in the wee hours before lounging on the beach…. Ahhh…
