Food and Fit: August 2

Whew!  Some days just fly by, don’t they?

Are any of you following along with my Food and Fit Series?  I have been loving mine!  I’m not having to worry about what I should do on a particular day, I can plan ahead, and I know it’s only going to take me less than an hour.  And, the best part is I can always switch it up.Here is what I ate and how I worked out on Tuesday.

Food:

  • Banana protein shake: banana, pb2, cocoa powder, almond/coconut milk-I wasn’t very hungry today but drank this immediately after working out around 2-3 pm
  • Dates and almond butter 2, and 2 tbsp.  Decided I should probably eat a little more before dinner so I had these delicious gems.  Anyone try this??  It’s seriously like candy or dessert for me.  Tim makes fun of me for eating ‘old people’ food haha 🙂
  • Veggie and black bean enchiladas: 3 homemade with 1/2 avocado as guacamole and fresh tomato
  • 4 Chocolate Chip Oreos
